About the wine
Picturesque and sunny landscapes of the Danube region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Austrian Weingut Familie Umathum conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. We have a special, distinctive white wine from 2017 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience when you serve this Sauvignon Blanc with goat cheese or mussels.
Tasting note
A textbook Sauvignon Blanc. In the color light green-golden. Very pure bouquet with typical aromas (gooseberries, peppers, green apples, herbs, some smoke) and a slight mineral note. Juicy and long on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish, vegetables and light meals.
Vinification
The wine is aged in wooden barrels for six months, then stored in stainless steel tanks for a few weeks.
