About the wine
Paradisiacal bays, deep blue seas, impressive mountain landscapes and blooming vines — the Marlborough region at the upper tip of New Zealand's South Island invites you to dream and relax. It's no wonder that Sauvignon Blanc grapes grow particularly well here. And the wine from Cloudy Bay is definitely one of the best.
Tasting note
Aroma: The Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc shows spicy aromas of lime and grapefruit in the bouquet. These are followed by notes of nectarines and lemongrass. Palate: Its lively, full-bodied aromas, complex taste characterized by pure fruit notes and fine structure are appreciated worldwide.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with appetizers, cold meat platters, vegetable terraces, freshwater fish and poultry.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place primarily in steel tanks and to a small extent in old French oak barrels (barriques), which gives the wine its structure.
