About the wine
Maori winery in Marlborough. Haysley MacDonald, founder and owner of te Pa, traces his ancestors back to the early Maori settlers who landed on Wairau Bar around 800 years ago.

Tasting note
Intense bouquet with aromas of nectarine, lemon, passion fruit and herbal notes (basil, nettle). On the palate, the wine is concentrated with refreshing aromas of citrus, green apple and pineapple. The wine has a refreshing, crisp acidity and a slightly mineral finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish, seafood, goat cheese, salad.
Vinification
The grapes from the various vineyards were fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine matured on fine lees. A small portion (2%) was stored in oak barrels for additional texture.
