Savagnin is the gem of the winery. This grape variety is at home in the Jura and the best examples come from the marble floor, as in Domaine Baud. The 228l wooden barrels were not completely filled up. Due to contact with the air, a flor-like yeast can grow, which gives the wine its typical taste. The Savagnin has power and tastes of apple, almonds and nuts and is very elegant. Very long finish and complexity.
