About the wine

Himmelsleiterli is the flagship wine of Zurich. At the beginning of the 1960s, Landolt bought a large plot of land on this steepest vineyard in the canton of Zurich and was the first winery in German-speaking Switzerland to terrace it to simplify vine maintenance. If you stand at the bottom of the stairs that lead up the vineyard, you have the impression that they lead straight to heaven. The fantasy name Himmelsleiterli was born!
