About the wine
Picturesque and sunny landscapes of the Rhine Valley give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the German winery Becker Friedrich conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. There is always something left over from Christmas dinner. Do you know that? Invite your friends over for a glass of wine in the afternoon to enjoy the festive meal again and we recommend this dominant white wine 2019. Tasting note
Bright yellow, a fine scent of ripe pome fruit, pear and roasted aromas on the nose. Structured palate deep, radiant, elegant and creamy, with perfectly integrated barrique notes. A wine with very good aging potential and long-lasting aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Schweigen Chardonnay passt bestens zu Geisskäse, Spargeln und Geflügel.
Vinification
The grapes were carefully selected by hand, destemmed and gently juiced. Fermentation and ageing take place in 228 liter wooden barrels made from the finest French and Palatinate oak.
