Deep dark, impenetrable red. Intense and radiantly fragrant with iridescent notes of flowers and nutmeg, black berries and some vanilla. Opulent and very full-bodied on the palate, with creamy sweetness (151 gr. sugar/liter). The heaviness and sweetness of the wine are beautifully balanced by a strong structure with fine-grained tannins, and fresh, juicy acidity. The Essencia lingers for an enormously long time, with lush blackberry fruit and beguiling notes of flowers, chocolate and vanilla. A unique dessert wine from the Algarve!
