About the wine
The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Fita Preta has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the sunny and picturesque landscape of the Alentejo. Tasting note
Deep red purple color Intense aroma of dark forest fruits with undertones of toasted notes and caramel. Dense concentration on the palate with ripe and powerful tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with seasoned red meat and also in the modern kitchen in general. Serving temperature is ideal at 15-17°C. It is ideal as a party wine!
Vinification
The vines stand on rocky granite and slate soils. The grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed. At a controlled temperature, fermentation is started with local yeast. 50% of the wine matures for 9 months in French oak.
