About the wine
With sensitivity and instinct, the winemaker from the Italian winery Livio Felluga masters this white wine in the fertile and blooming landscape of Friuli. This strong Chardonnay 2016 — Sharis IGT Venezie crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Chardonnay with poultry or asparagus.

Tasting note
Color: bright yellow with golden reflections. Nose, intense, fresh and balsamic, with notes of aromatic herbs, rosemary, thyme and verbena, which include floral notes of hawthorn, linden blossom and fruity notes of white plums and papaya, fresh hazelnuts on the finish. Palate: dynamic, fresh and spicy, citrus notes with fruity notes of white peach, distinct persistence.

Vinification
The grapes are carefully destemmed and gently pressed. The resulting grape must is then fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is stored on the lees in stainless steel containers for six months and then aged again in the bottle for at least two months.
