About the wine
This dominant white wine 2016 — Signature Pinot Gris Vin d'Alsace AOC crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. The winemaker from the French winery Wolfberger grows this wine in the Alsace countryside. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Pinot Gris can be served very well with fresh vegetables or ceviche.
Tasting note
Clear lemon yellow with medium green reflections. Medium-strong aromas of ripe fruits such as papaya, apricot, quince and lemon balm are combined with balsamic and earthy notes. Medium-bodied wine with a long, soft start, minerality and sweetness. Aromas of yellow stone fruits and pleasant tannins accompany the finish. Quality: A youthful wine with development potential.
