Tasting note
Complex bouquet of fresh figs, plums, licorice, flowers, tobacco and black pepper. On the palate multifaceted, elegant and powerful at the same time, silky tannins, enormously juicy, spicy fruit, mineral and endlessly long-lasting.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase of this wine: Now until 2025. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Sister Moon IGT Toscana goes perfectly with red meat, ribeye steak and pizza with mushrooms.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled maceration, after which the wine matures for 15 to 18 months in French oak and, for refinement, for six months in bottle.
