About the wine

In 2001, the successful architect Alfredo Arribas began to look after the old, partly family-owned vineyards in the Priorat and Montsant and founded the two wineries Portal del Montsant and Portal del Priorat. In painstaking detail work, Alfredo restored the old, steep vineyards and cultivates them according to the guidelines of integrated production. His recipe for success is old vines, exceptional locations and careful treatment of nature. To ensure the quality of his wines, he relies on very low but high-quality yields. His Priorat wines are unique in the truest sense of the word and are bursting with charm. Chapeau!
