About the wine
Fertile and beautiful landscapes in Veneto give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Azienda Agricola Pieropan conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. With this dominant Trebbiano 2015 — Soave Calvarino, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Trebbiano is very good to serve with an Asian noodle pan or vegetable rice.

Tasting note
Color: Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections when young, golden as it matures. The scent is fresh, floral with aromas of elderberry, lemon and cherry. On the palate, it is dry, balanced and elegant, with enormous length and finesse.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with: vegetable quiches, delicious fish dishes, crustaceans and cheese soufflés.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, often in two harvests, to select the ripest grapes. The harvest starts in mid-September for Trebbiano di Soave and in October for the Garganega grapes. The wine is aged for one year in glass-lined cement tanks. During this time, it remains on the fine yeast to increase its richness and complexity. After bottling, it slowly ages in the bottle for a few months before it is on the market.
