Radiant ruby red - impressive nose with notes of blackberries, raspberries, cassis, red cherries, Mediterranean herbs and white pepper. Medium-bodied on the palate, but overall quite dense and intense, with fine-grained tannins and a great acidity backbone that supports the ripe fruit aromas and provides them with the perfect stage for their performance. The Syrah vines in the cooling climate area of Sondagskloof mostly stand on weathered granite, which benefits the clear fruit expression of this wine.
