About the wine
Fertile and picturesque landscapes in South Tyrol give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Manincor conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. A must for connoisseurs, this powerful Chardonnay 2016 — Sophie IGT! The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this Chardonnay with truffles or goat cheese.
Tasting note
The refreshing aromas of passion fruit, peach and almond express a lot of complexity with a very special structure. Afterwards, the playful nuances of lemon, lime and apple reveal their own character. Slim body and dominant acidity result in the fruity white wine, which shows a lot of character and class in the mouth.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Enjoy this white wine at a slightly chilled 11°-13°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 3-5 years. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with fish with herbs, goat cheese and asparagus.
Vinification
8-10 months of “sur lie” storage with partial stirring of the yeast.
