Strong purple - typical, very aromatic Cabernet nose with notes of cassis, tarragon, graphite and cedarwood. These aromas are then also repeated on the palate, where the wine fully shows off its silky texture and the great structure with the fine-grained tannins. The sumptuous “power” is perfectly balanced by herbal freshness and subtle finesse. The long, fruity finish is dominated by notes of black currants and ripe blackberries. From various plots in the cooler sub-regions of Firgrove, Helderberg and Polkadraai, which belong to Stellenbosch.
