Tasting note
Medium ruby with garnet reflections, brightening towards the edge. A beguiling, sweet nose of ripe red berries, sour cherries, plum compote and warm spices. Soft start, spicier on the palate than on the nose. Subtle roasted aromas, warm spices, some tobacco, ripe cassis. Balanced, meaty and flattering on the finish. An excellently successful Sardinian representative with an international touch.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with gnocchi al Ragu, saltimbocca and grilled food.
