In the 1980s, he sold luxury labels in the USA. He then went to Bordeaux to satisfy his thirst for oenological knowledge. Andrea Franchetti finally came to the Val d'Orcia at the beginning of the nineties, where he laid the foundation stone for his wine project near the village of Sarteano, which he pursued with extreme consistency from the outset. Since the premiere with The Fruit of the Year in 1995, which was still experimental, Andrea has not let up his efforts to create drops that, intense and concentrated so much that you almost have to chew them, are at the very top.
