About the wine
Founded in 1893, the Terlan winery is now one of the leading winegrowers' cooperatives in South Tyrol. For many years, the winery, together with its cooperative members, has pursued a strict quality course, which has earned reputation and recognition from the international wine market.
Tasting note
Sparkling straw yellow in the glass with green reflections. Green apples and white peaches on the nose characterize the classic Terlan, which also has a subtle nuance of lemon balm and mint. The peach aroma is also very strong on the palate and makes the Terlan come alive. The multi-faceted, structured taste is characterized by an interplay of freshness and minerality as well as a great length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with asparagus dishes, pork, veal, vegetables
Vinification
Harvesting and selecting grapes by hand, gently pressing and purifying the must through natural sedimentation of the turbid substances. Slow fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Aging for six to seven months on fine yeast partly in stainless steel tanks (50%), partly in large wooden barrels (50%)
