About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this powerful Shiraz 2018 — The Holy Trinity Wine of Distinction. Sunny and picturesque landscapes in South Australia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Australian winery Grant Burge Wines conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
Rich aromas and elegant structure. Typically Rhone but with the volume turned up! Ripe plums, cloves and juicy, dark berries harmonize wonderfully. A slightly earthy, peppery undernote gives the wine an additional complexity and elegance. A Holy Trinity indeed, and a wine that doesn't have to shy away from comparison with top chateauneuf du Papes!

Vinification
Craig Stansborough is the chief winemaker for Grant Burge, and after studying the French Rhone Valley extensively in 1996, he used his knowledge and know-how to create the Holy Trinity. According to Rhone tradition, it is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. The grapes come from a single vineyard; the vines are between 50 and 120 years old.
