Tasting note
Brilliant cherry red with medium purple reflections, colourtight. Rich, blackberry nose, (cassis, elderberry, cherries), earthy accent, undergrowth, dense spice of cloves, subtle smoky notes of development, charming floral violet notes. Soft, very long, elegant start, fine-grained acidity, medium-bodied body, delicately tart in the finish, long-lasting aroma. Rich, young, lively wine, a fabulous accompaniment to tapas.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with well-seasoned tapas variations such as racy chorizo, spicy Moorish chicken skewers, goat cheese croquettes and strips of beef fillet wrapped in bacon.
