About the wine
Blooming and fertile Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Tenimenti Ruffino conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Spoil your family and friends at Christmas dinner with this distinctive Merlot 2016 — Toscana IGT Alauda. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Merlot with poultry or slightly spicy red meat.
Tasting note
Distinctive aromas on the nose and palate that are reminiscent of dark berries and chocolate. Thanks to its exciting cuvée, the wine has an elegant structure with a long-lasting finish. This fine wine wonderfully reflects the wild Tuscan terroir. The name “Alauda” comes from Latin and means “lark”.
