Tasting note
Rich ruby red. Aromatic on the nose with a scent of ripe fruit, especially red and black berries, complemented by spicy aromas, cloves, cinnamon, but also smoky notes. Soft and plump on the palate, with velvety tannins. Balanced with aromas of ripe fruit.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pizza, pasta and various meat dishes.
Vinification
Some fermented in steel tanks, some fermented in wooden vats, followed by maturation of at least 4 months in French and American wooden barrels.
