About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the German winery F.J. Eifel masters this white wine in the picturesque landscape of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. There is always something left over from Christmas dinner. Do you know that? Why not invite your friends over for a glass of wine in the afternoon to enjoy the festive meal again and we recommend this outstanding white wine 2019. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Riesling is very good to serve with shrimps or duck.
Tasting note
This Riesling Kabinett feinherb is pale straw yellow. On the nose, aromas of citrus fruits, ripe peaches, dried mango, orange peel and a touch of green tea inspire. On the palate, the wine is beautifully balanced with lots of citrus fruit and a perfect mix of sweet and sour, which results in a slightly mineral finish. An animating Riesling with just about 10% alcohol by volume, lots of melting and an irresistible drinking flow.
Culinary recommendation

Vinification
In addition to the pharmacy, the Trittenheimer Altarchen vineyard is probably the most famous location in Trittenheim. Located a little lower on the side of the village, the Moselle has deposited sediments here over centuries and so there is a meter-high layer of sandy clay and gravel on the slate soil. The vines are cultivated organically (certified) and picked by hand. The fermentation takes place with natural yeasts and the aging process is mainly carried out in stainless steel. What additives as well as fining are omitted.
