A must for connoisseurs, this outstanding white wine 2014 — Trittenheimer Apotheke Riesling Kabinett trocken! The winemaker from the German winery F.J. Eifel has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the picturesque landscape of the Moselle-Saar-Ruwer region. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this Riesling with mushrooms or Indian cuisine.
Tasting note
Clean fruit flavor meets invigorating acidity — that's how you could describe this wine. The scent has a mineral slate note and strong aromas of ripe stone fruits. On the palate, the acidity is perfectly balanced by the residual sweetness and supported by a wonderful finesse. Pure Riesling at a very reasonable price.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with aperitifs, spicy starters, light Far Eastern dishes, cheese and raw fish.
Vinification
The grapes for this Riesling grow at various locations in the Trittenheimer Apotheke. It is not uncommon for work steps in the vineyard to be roped due to the steepness. Of course, the reading is done by hand. The wine is vinified and aged with natural yeast in a steel tank.
