About the wine
Bodegas Trus truly represent the character of the Ribera del Duero, where extreme weather conditions and barren soils are captured in the exceptional personality of the wines produced. From the birthplace of the Ribera del Duero, Bodegas Trus returns to the Château's traditional idea of producing wines from the estate whose grapes are grown just a few meters away from the winery. This, of course, benefits the quality of the grapes and is reflected very well in the wines produced.

Tasting note
Currants and amarena cherries on the complex nose, also gingerbread and blackberry jelly, with subtle pear sweetness behind them. A full start with a soft tannin structure and typical Ribera warmth, now also plum compote and black elderberries, a good balance between freshness and sweetness, promising reserves, velvety palate filling right up to the long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with starters such as house pastes or venison terrines, dark mushroom sauces, stews, dark poultry such as duck or guinea fowl, steak options, grilled meat and semi-hard and hard cheeses such as sbrinz or mountain cheese.
