About the wine
This striking Merlot 2015 — Ultra Cuvée Especial crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Argentinian winery Kaiken masters this red wine in the sunny and enchanting landscape in Mendoza. Tasting note
A full-bodied black-red wine with a hint of violet; the nose is filled with intense fruity aromas of cherry and ripe plums, complemented by a hint of cassis and some floral notes. In the mouth, a slight opening sweetness, fruit and floral notes blend harmoniously; they are surrounded by ripe tannins, supported by a full-bodied, harmonious structure and finished with a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
A treat with pate, hearty roasts, veal and game dishes, risotto, polenta and blue cheese.
