Tasting note
Strong wine red intense fruit The ripe aromas of blackberries and dried fruits are very varied with spicy fragrance components of cedar and pepper. The wine has a strong body with robust tannins, and the fleshy pinot fruit make this wine long-lasting and interesting. A wine with an independent character; unmistakable.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with meat dishes, grilled meats, steak and game.
Vinification
Old stickel vines small grape yields. The grapes are hand-picked and sanded, destemmed and mash-fermented intensive extraction of the ingredients followed by slow careful ageing of the young wine matures in 800-liter oak barrels for 12 months before it is bottled.
