About the wine

The winemaker from the South African winery Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards masters this white wine with sensitivity and intuition in the fertile and sunny landscape of the Coastal Region. Tasting note
Tempting papaya on the nose, which has a distinctive tropical style with juicy grapefruits, blackcurrant and enticing notes of seaweed. The palate offers an abundance of fruit with juicy green melon, lively granadilla and tropical guava with a lingering hint of blackcurrant. The finish is dry and refreshing with persistent minerality.
Culinary recommendation
Fantastic wine to pair with fried scallops with cherry tomatoes, spring onions and salted lemon.
Vinification
Our Sauvignon Blanc vines are planted on the highest vineyards of the estate, on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountains, opposite False Bay. The early morning breeze cools the vines, which contributes to the excellent natural acidity of the grapes. Decomposed granite soils contribute to minerality on the palate. This wine was aged in stainless steel tanks.
