Jorge Moreira only bottles this wine in the most extraordinary years. The last bottling before 2011 was in 2005 and it shows the full depth, power and intensity of the steep terraces of Vale do Inferno. Aromas of dried plum, of black, ripe berries combine with the scent of violets, eucalyptus, sandalwood and a fine smoky note. It dresses the palate generously and with lots of melting, yet shows a lot of freshness. Extremely complex in its aroma, it drags on endlessly. A wine that offers the greatest pleasure.
