Tasting note
Mineral and salty start, it has the grape varieties and the Azorean terroir matrix, but with a much more lush, tropical aroma of Azorean pineapple and passion fruit, fresh fruit with acidity. It is not the Verdelho-Gouveio, it is not the Verdelho-Verdejo, it is the Verdelho-Verdelho, the original.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with oysters and “cracas” as well as grilled fish, salts and fresh seafood.
Vinification
Winemaking Manual harvest in 20-kilo baskets, pressing the whole grapes, natural separation after 24 hours and fermentation in small 600 to 1000 liter stainless steel tanks.
