About the wine
A Japanese idealist and Tuscan winemaking based on organic principles: How long will Bulichella remain a hot-trade secret tip? The Bulichella winery is located just under a kilometer outside the village of Suvereto, and its vineyards border directly with those of Tua Rita. Bulichella is owned by Japanese Miyakawa Hideyuki, who settled in Suvereto with his Italian wife Maria Luisa many years ago and invested in vineyards and wineries for Alessandro Bonaguidi's family. In honor of the owner wife who died early, the excellent single-varietal Merlot was therefore christened “Maria Shizuko”. The extremely friendly Alessandro Bonaguidi cultivates Bulichella according to biodynamic principles and uses both the traditional Tuscan varieties Sangiovese and Vermentino, as well as the classic Bordeaux varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot. I bet you'll hear a lot more about Bulichella and its wines in the future?
