About the wine
The chalky, gravelly soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Chardonnay. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Thibert Père et Fils knows how to use them and delights us with this white wine. This dominant Chardonnay 2016 — Vieilles Vignes Blanc Pouilly-Fuisse AOC is a triumph to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Tasting note
Color: Clear dense yellow gold, color-tight Ripe-fruity, intense bouquet of ripe apples, rich exotic scent, mango, persimmon, apricots, roasty-earthy notes set a nice accent. Body: Lively, dense, full-bodied first drink, strong body with dense palate aromas, present minerality, balanced in tannin and acidity, endless finish. Quality: Harmonious, creamy wine, perfectly aged.
