Vieux Télégraphe La Crau, Châteauneuf-du-Pape AC 2020 - Famille Brunier, Dom. Vieux Télégraphe

About the wine

The Bruniers are leading quality winemakers in the southern Rhône and have magnificent terroirs for Orange and Gigondas, above all on the fascinating pebble plateau La Crau in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This is where their legendary domain is located, whose name goes back to an old light telegraph that once stood in the vineyard. Daniel and Frédéric Brunier are great advocates of traditional, long aging in large barrels, so-called fuders, which adds great complexity to a pure range of flavors. The Vieux Télégraphe comes from very old vines and presents itself as a monumental, powerful wine that reveals a soul-warming Provence range of spices and develops complexity and elegance as it matures.
