Tasting note
A golden dessert wine with a very typical Muscat character in the bouquet. The wine shows aromas of pineapple, citrus, apricots, a hint of honey and subtle floral notes. The palate is luscious with a perfect balance between sweetness and fresh acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with dessert or fine handmade cheeses.
Vinification
The moderate weather during the growing season resulted in optimal conditions and enabled the fruits to ripen evenly with high natural acidity and flavor concentration. The grapes were destemmed, crushed and the extra raisins and berries were pulled from the stems by hand and added to the tank. Fermentation took place on the skin for 24 hours. The fermenting must went through a slow 3-hour pressing process and the cloudy juice continued fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
