About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Bindella - Vallocaia has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the blooming and fertile landscape of Tuscany. Tasting note
Brilliant garnet red with ruby reflections. Spicy on the nose with a fine toasted note, wood and cherries. On the palate, a juicy, elegant start with aromas of wild berries, cherries and spicy components. Present but finely polished tannins and a delicate, very well-integrated acidity give the wine a balanced structure. The finish is elegant and long. An authentic vino nobile with potential.
Culinary recommendation
A great food companion. Try it with Brasato al vino nobile, pasta with mushrooms and parmigiana di melanzane.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested separately, crushed, fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 20-22 months in traditionally large and smaller 300-liter oak barrels.
