About the wine
You can describe the landscape of Valais with words such as mountainous or hilly. However, the Swiss winery Adrian Mathier is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this white wine. We think he succeeded! There is something left over from Christmas dinner every year. Do you know that? Tasting note
The Viognier Les Pyramides is grown in Cothey. Beautiful southern hillside location. Slate soil covered with moraine deposits. Aromatic nose. Notes of peach and citrus. Full-bodied and generous on the palate with a well-rounded acidity. The finish is long-lasting and warm.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with freshwater fish, saltwater fish, risotto, crustaceans, hors d'oeuvres and aperitif.
Vinification
Classic vinification in stainless steel tanks. No biological acid degradation in warmer years.
