About the wine
The present Tempranillo 2011 — Vivanco Reserva is the missing piece of the puzzle in your wine rack. The winemaker from the Spanish winery Vivanco Bodega has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the enchanting and fertile landscape of the Upper Ebro region. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Tempranillo is ideal to serve with pizza or red meat.
Tasting note
Intense, crimson, with a brick-coloured edge. This wine shows aromas of cinnamon and sage surrounded by fruity notes of cherries and blackberries, underlined by a mineral component. Deep and ripe on the palate, with a velvety, silky mouthfeel.
Culinary recommendation
All types of meat, stews, game dishes, mushrooms, mature cheeses. Perfect with tapas or dark chocolate.
Vinification
24 months in new and two-year French and American oak barrels. 24 months in bottle.
