The landscape of the Bündner Herrschaft is hilly and mountainous, whose fascinating expanses don't fit on any poster, but in a bottle. With a lot of passion and experience, the winemaker from the Swiss winery Weinbau von Salis ensures that his craft inspires and convinces you. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Riesling with Asian food or shrimps.
Tasting note
On the wonderful nose, typical floral and fresh aromas of yellow pears complemented by refreshing grapefruit. Delicately fruity on the palate, again citrusy from the grapefruit, complemented by floral aromas right down to the harmonious finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fresh or saltwater fish, exotic, spicy Asian dishes, asparagus, various soups, or simply as an aperitif wine with or without appetizers.
Vinification
Gentle pressing of Riesling Silvaner grapes, must clarification by sedimentation (under the influence of gravity) and extended cold standing time in must state. Temperature-controlled fermentation at 18°C. Ageing on fine yeasts for 6 months without biodegradation (BSA). No fining agents of animal origin were used for ageing, which is why the Salis Bio-Logical line is also 100% vegan.
