About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2019, it's this outstanding Pinot Blanc 2017 — Weissburgunder Ried Grassnitzberg. To get a feel for the hilly and mountainous landscape aesthetics, there is no way around this white wine, which the Austrian winery Peter Skoff masters with a keen sense of texture. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Pinot Blanc is excellent to serve with hard cheese or pulpo.

Tasting note
Light yellow color. a scent of ripe, yellow pome and stone fruit, whale and hazelnut, some pink grapefruit, melon, mango, pineapple as well as elegant roasted aromas and vanilla bean. Balanced and elegant palate with roasted almonds, hazelnut, grapefruit, pineapple and some pear quince. The finish is long-lasting with predominantly nutty and exotic notes.

Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Weissburgunder Ried Grassnitzberg goes well with smoked salmon, fried poultry and tapas.
