About the wine
With this biting white wine 2018 — Welschriesling Qualitätswein, the term taste takes on a new meaning. To get a feel for the mountainous and hilly landscape aesthetics in Lower Austria, there is no way around this white wine, which the Austrian Weingut Hagn masters with a keen sense of texture. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Riesling is ideal to serve with mushrooms or duck.
Tasting note
With aromas of flower meadow, green apple, mirabelle and white peach, plus hints of grapefruit and some banana. Light fresh-fruity and delicately spicy palate, with ripe, slightly citric acid structure.
Culinary recommendation
With its fresh, fruity, light nature, it is the ideal aperitif wine. Also with cold starters, egg dishes and light fish dishes.
