The winemaker from the British winery Wiston Estate grows this wine in the countryside. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience if you offer this sparkling wine with appetizers or fish dishes.
Tasting note
The latest project from Wiston is finally here: A Blanc de Blancs non-vintage! The talented oenologist Dermot Sugrue has once again managed to make a top sparkling wine from England. This 100% Chardonnay shows a medium lemon yellow color and delights with a very intense nose with integrated brioche and toast, as well as subtle notes of caramel and beautiful aromas of green apple and citrus fruits. Delicate, fine and soft perlage, which makes the wine beautifully accessible. Extreme freshness that invites you to have a second glass.
Culinary recommendation
It goes perfectly with an aperitif but also with oysters, light fish and grilled chicken.
Vinification
Grapes from very calcareous soils. Reserve wine since 2009, 80% based on the 2018 vintage, fermented in steel tanks and 500L barriques from Burgundy. Second fermentation for more than 24 months in bottle. Dosage 4g/L
