About the wine
Give yourself joy for the senses with the first-class Xinomavro from 2018! The wine-growing regions of the Greek winery Alpha Estate stretch across the landscapes in Macedonia, where the experienced winemaker produces this red wine.
Tasting note
Light purple-red color. A complex, typical bouquet of small berries, red fruits, leather and spices (vanilla, pepper, clove) with a hint of ripe blackberry. Full mouth, rounded tannins, balanced acidity and well-integrated wood tones. Long aftertaste with an intense quince aroma.
Culinary recommendation

Vinification
Destemming, no squeezing, cold soaking - skin contact, alcoholic fermentation at gradually rising temperatures, keeping the wine “sur lies” for eight months with regular stirring. Twelve months in French oak barrels, medium-grained, roasted white and twelve months in the bottle.
