Yatir Creek 2019 - Yatir Winery

About the wine

The “Yatir Greek” shows strong burgundy tones with a bouquet reminiscent of black cherries, blackcurrants, cassis and roasted almonds. It has fruity, juicy aromas that are balanced by fine-grained and slightly salty tannins and a pleasant, spicy finish. The wine is made from a majority of Syrah with some Malbec and Tannat, which come from several plots where the highest quality grapes are produced. The drop matures for a year in specially large oak barrels, which do not give off too much oak flavor due to their size. After bottling, the bottle remains in the wine cellar for a further two years until it is fully matured. This inviting red wine reaches its peak between the fifth and tenth year. Under suitable conditions, it should stay in fantastic drinking shape even longer. Try the wine with a flank steak marinated in it or with fine beef goulash.
