Yatir Mt. Amasa 2020 - Yatir Winery

About the wine

The “Yatir Mt. Amasa” shows aromas of black fruits, plums, cherries and strawberries, which are mixed with a clear hint of oak. This delicate red wine is full-bodied, acidic and with a finish that contains a balanced amount of fruit and spices. The “Yatir Mt. Amasa” consists of a refined cuvée of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec and some tannat. The composition of the grape varieties varies from year to year, depending on the quality of the vintage. The wines from the various vineyards are aged for one year in separate small and large oak barrels before the final blend. The bottled bottle then remains in the wine cellar for a further two years until fully matured. This attractive red wine can remain in perfect drinking condition for a few years, but should be consumed between the fifth and tenth years to benefit from the best drinking experience. Pair it with hearty beef soup, lamb medallions or Indian chickpeas with plenty of curry.
