Tasting note
A charming Austrian. The wine vinified from the Zweigelt grape variety is dark, dense red. On the nose, it is fruity with fine cherry aromas. The taste is full, soft and elegant, with a noble aftertaste. A classic from Lake Neusiedl.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, pasta, game and vegetables.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. In the cellar, the grapes go through visual selection. The fermentation takes about two weeks at a controlled temperature of between 28 and 30°C. The wine is then moved to wooden barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation.
