About the wine
With the outstanding red wine 2009 — Aglianico Taburno DOC Riserva Vigna Cataratte, nuances and accents are redefined. Picturesque and fertile landscapes in Campania give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Azienda Agricola Fontanavecchia conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Aglianico with fried potatoes or beef tartare.
Tasting note
Dense, almost impenetrable ruby red. The complex bouquet gains depth with increasing contact with air and combines the bearing fruit with notes of fine spices and tobacco. Powerful, plump and warm on the palate, but without sacrificing freshness. A complex wine with a lot of melting, persistent in the finish and aftertaste.
