About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery San Rustico masters this red wine in the beautiful and fertile countryside in Veneto. This powerful Corvina 2012 — Amarone Classico DOCG is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Corvina with venison or roast meat.
Tasting note
The Amarone Classico has an intense garnet red color. Expressive nose with hints of cherry, bitter almond, chocolate and cocoa. Very harmonious, soft and velvety on the palate. Full-bodied finale with a long-lasting finish.

Flaschenpöstler tip: Amarone Classico DOCG goes well with venison, roasts and hearty meat dishes.
Vinification
After selective manual harvesting, the grapes are dried on wooden grids under the roof for 3 months. After traditional mash fermentation, Amarone is aged both in large oak barrels and in barriques for 24 months, followed by 12 months of bottle aging.
