About the wine

Sixty-three members are currently organized in the Cantina Produttori. They cultivate almost 100 hectares of vineyards, mostly in the best locations in Barbaresco. These include Crus Asilli, Rabajá, Montestefano, Pajé and Rio Sordo. As at the beginning almost 50 years ago, only one grape variety is cultivated: Nebbiolo. It is processed into Barbaresco DOC, Riserva and Nebbiolo Langhe, and Riserva wines are only produced in particularly good years... The wines produced by the Barbaresco Cooperative have always been a faithful reflection of the region, the soil and the craft tradition. They captivate with a variety of fruit notes, a wealth of aromas, they are astonishingly long-lasting and still inexpensive.
