Tasting note
The San Giuseppe Riserva is a deep ruby red with garnet reflections. The nose is dominated by cool aromas of sour cherry, blood orange, rose petals, Ceylon tea, eucalyptus and mineral notes of graphite. On the palate, the wine is concentrated yet silky with aromas of cherry compote, plum, pipe tobacco, cedarwood and some orange zest. Fine-grained tannins and a racy acid structure result in a mineral and seemingly endless finale. A great Barolo of stunning beauty!
